West Side

The Marketplace (under a different name) opened in 1975, and was later joined by a new nightclub area, Pleasure Island, in 1989.

These two locations became so popular that Disney expanded the district one more time in September 1997 with West Side. This newest area provides a more sophisticated 'worldly' atmosphere with even more family-friendly entertainment options.
