Disney's Animal Kingdom
"Welcome to a kingdom of animals ... real, ancient and imagined:
A kingdom ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons;
A kingdom of balance, harmony and survival;
A kingdom we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama … and learn." © Disney

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Animals. Journey into the wild as you explore the six regions of the park, each dedicated to a different ecological niche of our planet. Although some of the animals are extinct or only figments of pure fantasy, you’ll be delighted by all that you can see and learn! Go Explore, Have Fun, Go Wild!!!
Entrance/Oasis
Let's review the areas you'll see at the beginning of your day: the parking lot, bus stations, ticket stations, guest relations, turnstiles, and maybe even a few animals!
Attractions: The Oasis
Discovery Island
Wait ‘til you see the unbelievable Tree of Life, the most highly visible ‘specimen’ in the entire park! We have a 3-D movie to enjoy, a lot of animals to discover, and a very entertaining parade to view!

Africa
Welcome to Harambe, a Southeast African village that's home to one of the largest animal reserves on the continent! We can take a breathtaking, as-authentic-as-possible safari, discover a family of gorillas, and learn how all these countless animals are cared for!

Rafiki's Planet Watch
Gain an inside look at how Disney cares for the animals at Animal Kingdom; as well as learn ways that you can help to conserve endangered animals and create animal habitats at home.
Asia
I never thought of how much Disney’s Animal Kingdom was like Epcot until I began writing the content for the AVP! The humans can show off their cultures in the World Showcase over there, and the Asian animals can show off themselves, and a fun water ride (!) right here. And, yes, this does include our yeti friend at the new coaster!
Attractions: Expedition Everest |Kali River Rapids | Maharajah Jungle Trek | Flights of Wonder
Dinoland U.S.A.
Dinoland, U.S.A. is the place to find the most rides together at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! After all, we can’t spend the whole day looking at animals can we? Let’s fly, twirl, dig, and dodge with the dinosaurs instead, and ensure we don’t end up being lunch for a rather cranky one!
Attractions: The Boneyard | Finding Nemo – The Musical | TriceraTop Spin | Primeval Whirl! | DINOSAUR
Camp Minnie-Mickey
Camp Minnie-Mickey is another portion of the park that concentrates more on entertainment than animal exhibits! An incredible show with all of your favorite Lion King characters is here, four special character greeting huts are nearby, and another enchanting show with Pocahontas and her forest friend is waiting for your arrival. Are you ready?
